Banning To Issue Or Freezing Passport
Notwithstanding anything contained in the prevailing laws, the investigating authority may, on the basis of the gravity of the offence, the condition, circumstances in which the accused committed the offence, degree of the offence and the pnishment in case of conviction of the offence, issue an order to the concerned bodies for not issuing passport to any accused or for withholding it if it has been already
